FACT SHEET
Our Hackathons are seasonal and run them four times a year:
- Summer (August – September),
- Autumn (October – November)
- Winter ( February-March)
- Spring(May-June)
Our Hackathons are for ages 9 to 16. However we make provision for 7 and 8 year olds as follows:
- Three weeks trial period
- No payment obligation
- if we assess them and feel they are ok, we make their enrolment permanent.
We have a reduced price as follows For:
- one child $150 (
$200) - Two Children $175 (
$230) - Three Children $200 (
$260) - Four Children. $225 (
$290).
Payments are settled online on our website.
Payment should be made within one month of the date of registration.
Once a week session.
Two hours per session.
Interactive, sessions are 70% hands-on every child participates with Home Works.
Our Hackathons are structured so that students from one hackathon to the next, in Level 1, Level 2, …. fashion in such away so that students grasp measurable academic mastery computer science foundation concepts, and are monitored that they are stacking coding experiences on trending technologies.
We will inform you by email, after you are registered, but for now around mid February 2024.
In L1, we focus the foundational model of programming and computer science. The whole purpose of an L1 Hackathon for the learner to appreciate the purpose of coding is to solve some real world problem. For children in their formative years, Scratch block programming has proven through out the years to be a language of choice for children to embark on their coding journey.
